Grant writer based in Saskatoon, sk.

Hello! My name is Jaclyn. I am a social worker turned grant writer, a wife, and mom to three wild boys, including a dinosaur-loving six-year-old with Autism. I love ballet, surfing, reading, writing, travelling, eating delicious food that my husband cooks, and spending time with the people that I care about most. I grew up in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, and earlier this year traded in the mountain views for prairie sunsets as our family relocated to my husband’s home city of Saskatoon. (I understand why they call it the “land of the living skies” now).

Professionally, I have held several social work roles in both Calgary, AB and Lower Mainland, BC. My blend of working in front line roles in social services, my background in the performing arts world and having lived in three provinces across Western Canada has given me unique insight into supporting both registered charities and members of the artistic community. Furthermore, I am a proud member of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) and am grateful to serve on the board of directors for the GPA Canadian Chapter. I am also a member of WESK (Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan).

I have been fortunate to have found grant writing -a profession that combines my love for people, passion for contributing to positive change, and my type A/detailed oriented/project manage-loving personality. Welcome to Hearth Grant Consulting, I’m glad you’re here!
